We started our 10 days Morocco Desert from Fes in the modern section of the city, where we approach the royal palace, barium Jews, after enjoying a delicious breakfast at the riad (Mellah).

We’ll then travel to a vantage position from which we can see the entire medina, including the few mosques and the south tower. We will wander the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the Medina on foot.

The activity of people in its winding streets, organized by guilds of potters, dyers, etc., will take you back in time. You’ll see that the town is medieval and that time has stood still. Overnight in a riad after dinner.

On the third day of the tour, after breakfast, we will go to Volubilis, the location of the Roman ruins that are the largest preservation of Roman influences in North Africa. Volubilis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Despite the devastating earthquake of 1755, Volubilis still has intricate, magnificent mosaics.

In spite of devastation and catastrophes, the Roman town maintained its splendor. Our next stop, Meknes, is the city that served as a significant point of start for the Roman Empire. In addition, the 10th Berber village gave rise to the name Miknasa. It then became a city under the control of the Empire.

We will explore the historical core of old Meknes on a beautiful trip. The story revolves around history, the past, grandeur, and magic. Then, we’ll travel to Rabat, the current capital of Morocco. We will visit several notable sites in Rabat, including the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of Oudaias.

We will continue our adventure this morning by seeing the Hassan II Mosque, the second-biggest mosque in Africa and the fifth-largest mosque in the world. It is the largest mosque in Morocco. The mosque exhibits Islamic architectural beauty and Moroccan craftsmanship through its interior and external embellishments.

After finishing our tour of the mosque, we’ll depart for Marrakech in the early afternoon. We are moving closer to Marrakech on the train by ourselves as we learn more about Moroccan culture. As soon as we arrive, we will immediately get some exercise by exploring Jemaa el Fna, a square and market in Marrakesh’s historic medina.

The name’s origin is unknown; some accounts state that Jemaa el Fna was the location where sultans would execute their foes, while other accounts claim that the name could literally translate to “The Mosque at the End of the World,” which carries a religious meaning. The location now draws a lot of tourists and Moroccans since it provides entertainment and collects many Moroccan cultural facades.

An authorized guide from Marrakech will give us a customized tour of the city. You will start your tour of Marrakech’s splendor by going to the well-known Koutoubia Mosque and the medieval Medina with its endearing traditional souks.

Before touring a number of locations that define the city of Marrakech, such as the Saadian, the Bahia Palace, and the Majorelle Gardens, we will also be a member of the Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School. We will return to a Riad in the historic Medina at night to eat and rest.

he High Atlas Mountains, which we will cross at a height of 2260 meters through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, is where we will head after leaving the red city of Marrakech.

We will take one of the side roads that go to a hidden gem, Kasbah Telouet, on the way down the opposite side, passing quite a few typical Berber settlements that border the riversides. This building may not appear to be much more than a ruin until you view the amazing interior spaces; it was formerly one of the governor or “Pacha” of Marrakech’s palaces and features extremely beautiful and detailed craftsmanship in its cedarwood, plaster, and tiles.

Our 10-day itinerary continues from Fes through the valley to another Kasbah, which is more well-known as a filming setting and has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1987. Ait Benhaddou is a fortified ksar on the banks of a river that was once a commerce route for camels carrying salt to Timbuktu and the Sahara.

We will travel to Ouarzazate and then on to the spectacular Skoura palm grove with its hidden kasbahs after having lunch at a nearby restaurant. On the route to Dades, where we will spend the night, you will also enjoy the trip through the Valley of the Roses.

We’ll drive through Dades Valley after breakfast to see the incredible rock formations, and we’ll stop for a break in one of the lovely gorge spots. We will witness the panoramic vistas of the old mud Berber settlements with their palm groves overhanging the valley as we leave the Dades valley and travel towards Tinrghir and the Todra river.

When you reach the Todgha Gorge, you will pass by a tall, red cliff that rises to a height of 300 meters at its narrowest point. Lunch will be on the way if you continue on to Erfoud and Rissani, formerly known as Sijilmassa (the founding family of the Alaouit dynasty, the current reigning family).

After that, we’ll continue on to Merzouga, where you will be warmly welcomed with a cup of tea before spending the night in a hotel or riad.

Today, we’ll begin our exploration of the Merzouga desert region. We’ll start by going to the seasonal lake of Merzouga (Lake Sirji) before moving on to the settlement of people with dark complexion (Khamlia), who are originally from Mali, to take in their culture and music.

After that, we’ll drive to the Meffes Mines to see how they operate before descending behind the dunes and entering a beautiful desert where we’ll sit and have tea with some Berber bedouins (who live in tents). You’ll meet some of their family members and learn about their way of life.

Your local guides will show you how to ride and saddle a camel and other helpful safety advice after you get ready, and then you can start exploring the enigmatic sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi for yourself (1h -1h:30m). Sleep in a tent like a Berber.

After taking a shower and returning from the desert with the camels, we’ll travel to Rissani, the first Moroccan royal city.

Then, after going through the fossil-related settlement of Erfoud and the Ziz valley with its sweeping views of palm groves and canyons, we will arrive at Tizi-n-Talghomt port. We’ll reach Midelt in time for lunch.

We will stop on the road to the cedar forest by the highway so that we can observe the monkeys living in freedom. Then, after passing through Ifrane, sometimes known as the Moroccan Swiss, we reach Fez, the Moroccan hub of culture. Dinner and a hotel stay are included.
